Hospital hours are Monday-Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We are looking for a technician who has a positive attitude, enjoys having fun at work and wants to provide the highest level of care to our clients and their pets. The ideal candidate would be a registered veterinary technician with experience working in a small animal hospital. The successful applicant is expected to be proficient in skills required of a veterinary technician, including venous blood sampling, IV catheter placement, monitoring anesthesia, performing dental cleaning, among others.

Part Time Veterinary Technician/Assistant needed for our Specialty Practice.
Tuesday, Thursday and some Fridays 7:30am to 6:30pm.
DOE $13.00 to $14.00/hr. Experience Required.
Clinical-Restrain pet during Veterinary exam, enter exam charges, medications, etc on our customized computer software.
Surgical- We perform surgeries on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. We have a 3 tech team in the surgical area. Patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, recovery, pain management preparation, induction and surgical assist. Prepare surgical packs, autoclave and gas sterilize. Charting and preparing charges. Provide clients with surgical discharge instruction.
Clerical-Some Fridays answering phones, filling prescriptions, making appointment and reminder calls.

Meeker Animal Hospital is looking for 1-2 full time veterinary technicians or assistants. We are a 1 doctor, mixed practice. Experience is preferred and pay is based off skill set and experience. We offer many full time benefits. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8am – 5pm and Thursdays from 1pm – 7pm.
Pay will depend on the level of experience. Depending on the availability there is an intern room if you would like to come and visit and/or perform your internship here.
We are needing a RVT to work in our 2 doctor practice. We are exclusively small animal. Experience required with surgery prep, IV catheters, blood draw, intubation, anesthesia, and animal restraint. We have Idexx in-house lab and Idexx digital radiography. Hours are 9am-5pm Monday thru Fridays. Pay is competitive and based on knowledge and experience.
Laboratory Animal Care Technician
1. Performs cleaning, sanitization, and preparation of caging and accessories by processing dirty and clean animal caging and equipment in a timely manner.
2. Operates equipment including autoclaves, mechanical washers, bedding dispenser, fogger, and Optiquench per department SOP’s.
3. Perform daily maintenance requirements of equipment as per SOP’s and notify supervisor of
any equipment malfunctions.
4. Sanitize all areas of facility per department SOP’s.
5. Maintain quality control records.
6. Observe SOP’s for traffic flow within facility to prevent cross-contamination.
7. Assist with monitoring facility environment, notify supervisor of any problems detected.
8. Receive and store incoming supplies; maintain storage room.
9. Performs basic husbandry functions including daily health observations and cage changing.
10. All duties are to be carried out in accordance with all regulatory bodies (USDA, AAALAC, PHS, etc.) and department SOP’s.
11. Performs all other duties as assigned.

The ability to be flexible and adjust to changing conditions /requirements is essential.
Prefer one (1) year of animal care experience in an animal lab environment, veterinarian clinic, or other related experience; also prefer certification by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science as an Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT) certification.
Work Hours: Typically Monday-Friday from 7:30am – 4:00 pm, with rotating weekends.
