University of Florida Veterinary Hospitals Technician Internship Program: APPLICATIONS DUE FEBRUARY 28TH, 2018! The veterinary technician internship program is for technicians wanting to either focus in Anesthesia & Pain Management, or Emergency Medicine & Critical Care, or participate in a General/Rotating internship program. The program is designed to offer technicians the opportunity to increase knowledge and gain experience in a specific discipline or various core specialty services with the opportunity to choose to visit various elective specialty services as well.
We are accepting one intern for each track. Candidates must be a graduate of an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology program and eligible to sit for the VTNE by the program start date. Experienced technicians that are credentialed (certified, registered or licensed) will also be considered.

Application packets from candidates should be received by UF College of Veterinary Medicine by February 28th, 2018. The technicians will be notified of acceptance by March 30th, 2018. The internship program dates are June 18th, 2018 – June 30th, 2019.
